Growing up I had flat feet, which caused me a lot of pain. Before high school, I had to have reconstructive surgery on my left foot. However, over the next couple of years, I was still afraid to completely use my left leg which caused it to get weaker affecting my whole body.
In college, I was inspired to begin exercising and taking care of my body. Although it was terrifying at first, this was when I first gained a passion for healing and gaining strength. As I began to heal, I wanted to help others as well. Especially those who were in a similar situation.
When I was 23 I had an accident that resulted in more difficulties and then I met with an experienced massage therapist to get help. After she worked on me, I felt the most connected to my body since I was a child. Since then I aspired to become a great massage therapist.
My therapist encouraged me to follow my newly found passion for which I’m forever thankful. Now, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist having completed the program at the Oregon School of Massage. Additionally, to gain more experience, I have been working at a Chiropractic office as an assistant and LMT.
In Heal N Flow, the mission is to help people gain relief and strength while reconnecting to their bodies. Many of us experience physical or mental traumas and hold the tension in our bodies.
